Tweens & Teens Gathering

Teen Time

Youth ages 12-19 are invited to the library to review books they are reading, do hands on craft activities, and even do a STEAM activity monthly. No registration is required.

Wee Readers Storytime

Children ages 3-5 are invited to the library to enjoy songs, fingerplays and activities along with a story.  Before leaving make a craft and play with library toys with friends.

Tales with T.A.I.L.S.

Caring Hearts Pet Therapy program Tales with T.A.I.L.S. (Therapy Animals Increase Literacy Skills) seeks to improve children’s reading and communication skills with the assistance of registered therapy animal teams. The children are encouraged to read, engage, and connect with the pet. Bring your favorite book or two or choose one here at the library to share with one of our animal friends. Clyde Peelings Reptile Land

This program introduces audiences to the fascinating world of turtles, crocodilians, lizards and snakes from around the world. This program takes place at St Peters Lutheran Church 121 N. Spring Street, Middletown PA  

Jon Stilz Molina Graffiti Artist

Graffiti Artist Jon Stilz Molina will be at the library to talk with Tweens and Teens about the history and styles of graffiti and how it can be a transformative art form.  He will make two pieces for on the wall at the library and each attendee will make a 12x12 graffitied canvas to take home.  Registration is required.  Call 717-944-6412 to register or stop by the main desk to register next time you visit the library!  (Dress accordingly for painting!)

Gather at 6 pm to listen to a story, participate in a 'LEGO challenge" if interested and have free building times with LEGO's.
