Tales with T.A.I.L.S.
Caring Hearts Pet Therapy program Tales with T.A.I.L.S. (Therapy Animals Increase Literacy Skills) seeks to improve children’s reading and communication skills with the assistance of registered therapy animal teams. The children are encouraged to read, engage, and connect with the pet. Bring your favorite book or two or choose one here at the library to share with one of our animal friends. Join Miss Kira to read a book plus make a craft or do a fun activity! Books, Plus! is every Tuesday for ages 6-11 years at 1pm. There is no need to register in advance. Everyone is Welcome!
Andrew’s Big Show
Andrew performs a variety circus show. His 45 minute family friendly comedy, juggling show is fun for kids and adults! This program takes place at St Peters Lutheran Church 121 N. Spring Street, Middletown PA
Tweens & Teens Gathering
Tweens and Teens ages 12-17 are invited every Thursday at 4:30 pm to discuss books they are reading, complete a craft or activity or play a game. No registration is required.
Family Board Game Days
Middletown Public LibraryOn every second Saturday of the month starting June 8th, 2024, we will be hosting Family Board Game Days in our second floor Assembly Room from 10:00am-12:00pm where families and patrons of all ages can play our selection of classic and new board games. We have chess, Monopoly, Clue, and more!
