Read to Pets: Tales with T.A.I.L.S.
Read to Pets: Caring Hearts Pet Therapy program Tales with T.A.I.L.S. Bring your favorite book or two or choose one here at the library to share with one of our animal friends. Children will have the opportunity to read individually or in small groups with each of the animals at the session depending on the number of children registered and pets available. Youth ages 12-19 are invited to the library to review books they are reading, do hands on craft activities, and even do a STEAM activity monthly. No registration is required.

Community Table Top Game Time
Featured Family Board Game DaysLibrary Assembly Room 20 N Catherine Street, Middletown, PA, United StatesOn every second Saturday of the month starting September 13, 2025 we will be hosting Family Board Game Days in our second floor Assembly Room from 10:00am-12:00pm where families and patrons of all ages can play our selection of classic and new board games. Sensory Story Time
Sensory Story Time: Children ages infant to 8 are invited monthly on the third Tuesday to a sensory activity, story and take-along activity. Every third month the program will be led by Catherine Hershey School (September, December, March) All other dates will be lead by Library Staff.
