The Great Healthy Dessert Bake-Off! Saturday, June 11th as part of the Kick-Off to Summer Reading Carnival! Drop off- the goods between 9:30-9:45 am. Judging to take place promptly at 10 am -Recipes may be wholly original or come from a book. -Judging criteria will be based on taste, presentation AND the health of the recipe. -Entrants must bring a copy of the recipe along with the dessert. Prizes will be awarded for the best dessert meeting all judging criteria

Grandma Gatewood’s Walk Discussion Group

There will be a special Reading Discussion Group about the book “Grandma Gatewood’s Walk” (by Ben Montgomery) the inspiring story of the woman who saved the Appalachian Trail. Anyone interested must RSVP at the front desk. Space is limited.
