Children ages 6-11 are invited for a story and craft or activity in the children's area!

Summer Stuffy Sleepover
Children ages 3 and up are invited to the children's area at the library to hear a bedtime story and have a snack. Then stuffed animal friends stay overnight for some fun and games! Pick up stuffies one of the next two days. Tuesday 12pm-8pm or Wednesday 9:30am-4pm.

PA Mammals!
This program has been rescheduled for this date! Children and their families are to the assembly room at Middletown Public Library for a PA Mammals presentation by state game warden Zach Soles. Featuring pelts, skulls, scat and tracks! Learn more about your environment and gain a respect for Pennsylvania’s rich natural resources! Light refreshments provided.

Combined Story Time at Park
Tiny Tots Story Time will combine with Wee Readers Story time at the park across from the library on this date only. A dump truck and 'digger' will parked nearby for the kids to see and touch.

LAPSIT Story Time
Infants not yet walking (typically 0-1 years) are invited along with their caregivers to a fun song, movement and story time designed for their age.

Children ages 1-2 are invited to the library to enjoy songs and finger plays, a story and craft!

Wee Readers
Children ages 3-5 and their caregivers are invited to the children's area at the library each Tuesday at 1pm for a story, songs, fingerplays and a craft!

Tales with T.A.I.L.S – Read with Pets!
Read to Pets: Caring Hearts Pet Therapy program Tales with T.A.I.L.S. Bring your favorite book or two or choose one here at the library to share with one of our animal friends. Children will have the opportunity to read individually or in small groups with each of the animals at the session depending on the number of children registered and pets available. Animals are attentive listeners and their presence increases a child’s comfort in reading aloud. Recommended for ages K-5th grade. Registration is not required.
