Sensory Story Time
Sensory Story Time: Children ages infant to 8 are invited monthly on the third Tuesday to a sensory activity, story and take-along activity. Every third month the program will be led by Catherine Hershey School. All other dates will be lead by Library Staff.

Tales with T.A.I.L.S – Read with Pets!
Read to Pets: Caring Hearts Pet Therapy program Tales with T.A.I.L.S. Bring your favorite book or two or choose one here at the library to share with one of our animal friends. Children will have the opportunity to read individually or in small groups with each of the animals at the session depending on the number of children registered and pets available. Come hear a story inside and learn about fire safety from real firefighter! Then check out a fire truck up close! This is a family program geared for families with children ages 3-13. No registration is necessary.

Appliance Autopsy
Come Join us and take apart electronics and small appliances. Let’s see what is inside and what makes them work! Tools provided. Bring your own electronics or use ones we have here! This program is for youth ages 10-18 and will take place in the Assembly room on floor two of the library. Registration is necessary. Fall Book Sale
Fall Book Sale: Saturday, October 31-November 14, 2026 Children’s Books are $5 a bag the entire sale. Last Saturday of each sale are Bag Sale Days. Bag Sale Bags are provided at the sale should be able to tie shut when filled. We do not permit the use of scanners in the sale. *All sales subject to PA Sales Tax
