Local Authors Discussion Group

Middletown Public Library

This discussion group is reading books by authors from right here in the Capital Region. It's a chance to read books by some local authors who will be visiting in library in the Fall. Mon. June 26 from 6-7:30pm- Edge of Death by John Benedict MD Mon. July 24 from 6-7:30pm- Under the Moon by Natalie J. Damschroder Mon. Aug. 28 from 6-7:30pm- The Newbie by Leta Hawk Then on Sat. Sept. 30 from 1 to 4 pm we host a local author panel, PA Q and A.

Book vs. Movie Discussion Group

Local Author Event

St. Peter's Church 121 N. Spring St., Middletown, PA

Several local authors will speak about a variety of topics. Due to the number of authors, the event has moved to the social hall of St. Peter's Church (121 N. Spring St). There will be a question and answer period with each of the authors. The authors will be selling and signing their books. The authors are: Jeffry W. Every other Saturday at the library is a SUPER Saturday. With fun events for Children and Teens all day long. Legos and STEM Club equipment will also be available to utilize May 12 is Mother's Day Themed May 19 we are going to display a selection of the Homeschool Community's artwork. The artwork of students (K-12) from the Middletown Area School District will be on display in the Library's Assembly Room.

Free Comic Book Day

On Sat. May 5th, The Library is taking part in FREE Comic Book Day. Kids and teens get a FREE comic when they check out an item. (While supplies last). Free comics provided by Comics and Paperbacks Plus of Palmyra.
