Take Your Child to the Library Day
Middletown Public LibraryThere will be a special storytime and craft for Take Your Child to the Library Day. No registration is required. (Recommended for birth-age 6 with a caregiver. 30-45 minute storytime) Also there will be a preview of our new weekly STEM Club, which meets Thursdays from 6-7pm starting Feb. 9th. Join us for weekly robotics. Build, Design, and Learn in a fun, family atmosphere.

Speed Date With a Book
Middletown Public LibraryLet us introduce you to 10 of our favorite genres round-robin, speed-dating style! Enjoy some light refreshments and get the buzz on a selection of our hottest books.

Book Lovers Trivia Week
To celebrate Book Lovers Month we are doing a week long trivia event! Starting Monday 2/20 to Saturday 2/25 patrons have a chance to answer a library trivia question. If they answer it correctly they get a chance to spin the wheel and win a prize. One question per day, per patron. There are questions for adults and questions for children. Good luck! Also, Join us the 4th Friday of the month (Friday, February 24th) for Trivia Night at 7 pm. Teams of 3 to 5 people. Winning team wins a prize.

Middletown Public LibraryJoin us July 27th for Harry Potter Trivia The Library hosts a Trivia Night on the 4th Friday of the month. Teams of 3 to 5 people. The winning team will win a prize. Light refreshments will be provided.

Family Day (Tax Day/Relax Day)
Families, join us for a special Saturday at the Library. We will have a Storytime from 10-11am-Explore action rhymes, songs, and stories. After books, gather with us at the back table for a special activity. And then from 11am-2pm, STEM Club- Build, Design, and Learn in a fun, family atmosphere.

Family Yoga
Middletown Public LibraryJoin us for an interactive fabulous way to get fit for the whole family. Yoga, stretching, and coordination. All ages welcome; 30-45 minutes

FREE Comic Book Day
Middletown Public LibraryOn Sat. May 6th, The Library is taking part in FREE Comic Book Day. Kids and teens get a FREE comic when they check out an item. (While supplies last). Free comics provided by Comics and Paperbacks Plus of Palmyra.

Cupcake/Cake Decorating Contest
Middletown Public LibraryCupcake/Cake (6 inch) Decorating Contest begins at 9:30 am Decorate your dessert as your favorite book. They need to be decorated before hand. They will be judged on appearance alone. Children, Teens, and Adults will also be able to register for Summer Reading.

Trivia Saturday
Every week of Summer Reading kids can answer literary trivia questions. The best part is we'll put the books with the answers on a special book cart in the Children's Section. New sheets each Saturday of Summer Reading. Completed trivia sheets earn you an extra ticket for a chance at prizes. And if you like one of the books you can put it on hold and take it home the following week.

Book vs. Movie Discussion Group
Middletown Public LibraryThis summer we are having a monthly Discussion Group which will look at some of your favorite books/movies and discuss which one is superior! Thurs.
