It's a chance to read books by some local authors who will be visiting in library in the Fall. Mon. June 26 from 6-7:30pm- Edge of Death by John Benedict MD Mon. July 24 from 6-7:30pm- Under the Moon by Natalie J. Damschroder Mon. Aug. 28 from 6-7:30pm- The Newbie by Leta Hawk Then on Sat. Sept. 30 from 1 to 4 pm we host a local author panel, PA Q and A.

FREE Tax Preparation
Middletown Public LibraryThe Middletown Public Library is partnering with the United Way's "Money in Your Pocket" program which offers FREE tax preparation for low to moderate-income individuals and families (generally those with a yearly income of $54,000 or less). The program runs Monday nights from 5:30 to 8 pm beginning January 29 and ending April 16. People are helped on a first come, first served basis. Hoffer ParkLast but not least – those who complete the summer reading program by Sat. August 11th are invited to our end of summer picnic celebration in Hoffer Park. Live music! Games! And end of Summer Prizes! Dinner will also be served courtesy of Kiwanis Club of Middletown. Guests at the celebration picnic must have completed the summer reading program AND register for the picnic by Sat. August 11th.
