End of Summer Picnic
Hoffer ParkLast but not least – those who complete the summer reading program by Sat. August 11th are invited to our end of summer picnic celebration in Hoffer Park. Live music! Games! And end of Summer Prizes! Dinner will also be served courtesy of Kiwanis Club of Middletown. Guests at the celebration picnic must have completed the summer reading program AND register for the picnic by Sat. August 11th.
Local Author Event
St. Peter's Church 121 N. Spring St., Middletown, PASeveral local authors will speak about a variety of topics. The event is held social hall of St. Peter's Church (121 N. Spring St). There will be a question and answer period with each of the authors. The authors will be selling and signing their books. The authors are: Natalie Damschroder, author of romantic adventures "The Color of Courage," and "Aftershocks." Learn Fancy Nancy’s favorite fancy words, paint your nails, build your own jewelry, and snack on crumpets and tea! Registration is necessary. Stuffed Animal Sleepover
January 7 - Stuffed Animal Sleepover Ever wonder what kind of mischief and shenanigans one can get into at the library after hours? Well, you might not be able to spend the night, but your stuffed animal can! Come to the library with your favorite furred pets on Monday, January 7th from 7:00-7:30 pm. We will do stories and a craft before we tuck them in for the night. Pick up your stuffed animal anytime on Tuesday, January 8th to find out what they did after the library closed. No registration necessary.
Evening Family Yoga
Join us for an interactive fabulous way to get fit for the whole family. Yoga, stretching, and coordination. All ages welcome; 30-45 minutes Does not meet 2nd Tuesday of every month.

Enjoy some light refreshments and get the buzz on a selection of our hottest books.
Summer Reading Kick Off
Help us Kick-off our Universe of Stories Summer Reading program. Children, Teens and Adults, can all sign up Summer Reading and win cool prizes. Games, Prizes, FUN, FUN, FUN! Special appearance by Rascal the mascot of the Harrisburg Senators (From 10-11am). Special performance by Kevin Koa- rock/pop/acoustic musician (Starts 11am). Special appearance by the Central PA Heroes Coalition (arriving 11am).
STEM Club
Middletown Public LibrarySTEM meets Mondays from 4-6:30 pm in the Children's section. Join us weekly to explore robotics and science. Build, Design, and Learn in a fun, family atmosphere. Teen STEM with an emphasis on more in-depth learning of the STEM areas and applying the knowledge meets Tuesdays from 4:30-5:30 pm in the Assembly Room.
