Stuffed Animal Sleepover

January 7 - Stuffed Animal Sleepover Ever wonder what kind of mischief and shenanigans one can get into at the library after hours? Well, you might not be able to spend the night, but your stuffed animal can! Come to the library with your favorite furred pets on Monday, January 7th from 7:00-7:30 pm. We will do stories and a craft before we tuck them in for the night. Pick up your stuffed animal anytime on Tuesday, January 8th to find out what they did after the library closed. No registration necessary.

Summer Reading Kick Off

Help us Kick-off our Universe of Stories Summer Reading program. Children, Teens and Adults, can all sign up Summer Reading and win cool prizes. Games, Prizes, FUN, FUN, FUN! Special appearance by Rascal the mascot of the Harrisburg Senators (From 10-11am). Special performance by Kevin Koa- rock/pop/acoustic musician (Starts 11am). Special appearance by the Central PA Heroes Coalition (arriving 11am).

Stories and Sidewalk Chalk

Middletown Public Library

Children up to age 6 (with their favorite adult) are welcome to join us for an outdoor storytime followed by time to decorate the sidewalk in front of the library with sidewalk chalk. In case of rain, we'll move the fun indoors.  

Other Worlds Wednesdays- Tom Crowl

Tom Crowl is a high-energy comedian and ventriloquist who brings over 30 years of professional entertainment experience into each new performance. A rare talent, Tom is often recognized from his appearance on NBC’s Last Comic Standing. He is performing a show called "Let's Meet a Martian" designed for this year's Summer Reading Program.
