Fancy Nancy Tea Party-You are cordially invited to an especially fancy storytime and tea party on April 13, 2019 from 11:00 am – 12:00 pm. Learn Fancy Nancy’s favorite fancy words, paint your nails, build your own jewelry, and snack on crumpets and tea! Registration is necessary. April 11th is the last day to register by contacting the library at (717) 944 – 6412 or by stopping by the front desk.

Explore action rhymes, songs, and stories. After books, gather with us at the back table for a special activity. No registration is required and siblings are welcome. Infants will have an age appropriate activity instead of a craft. (Recommended for birth-age 6 with a caregiver. 30-45 minute storytime)

LEGO® Junior Maker Club! Make, tinker, build, and explore with LEGO®. The Junior Maker club encourages children and families to take a hands-on, minds-on approach to "making" with the use of LEGO® bricks while tying in a love for reading. Hope to see you there! Made possible by a donation to the library by LEGO® Systems, Inc. and the Association for Library Services to Children. One of the generous supporters of our Children's Programs are the Middletown Odd Fellows and Rebekahs.

Stuffed Animal Sleepover

January 7 - Stuffed Animal Sleepover Ever wonder what kind of mischief and shenanigans one can get into at the library after hours? Well, you might not be able to spend the night, but your stuffed animal can! Come to the library with your favorite furred pets on Monday, January 7th from 7:00-7:30 pm. We will do stories and a craft before we tuck them in for the night. Pick up your stuffed animal anytime on Tuesday, January 8th to find out what they did after the library closed. No registration necessary.

Join us for an interactive fabulous way to get fit for the whole family. Yoga, stretching, and coordination. All ages welcome; 30-45 minutes Does not meet 2nd Tuesday of every month.

Summer Reading Kick Off

Help us Kick-off our Universe of Stories Summer Reading program. Children, Teens and Adults, can all sign up Summer Reading and win cool prizes. Games, Prizes, FUN, FUN, FUN! Special appearance by Rascal the mascot of the Harrisburg Senators (From 10-11am). Special performance by Kevin Koa- rock/pop/acoustic musician (Starts 11am). Special appearance by the Central PA Heroes Coalition (arriving 11am).

Other Worlds Wednesdays- Sciencetellers

Sciencetellers combines storytelling and exciting science experiments into an unprecedented theatrical learning experience. Stories and Sidewalk Chalk

Middletown Public Library

Children up to age 6 (with their favorite adult) are welcome to join us for an outdoor storytime followed by time to decorate the sidewalk in front of the library with sidewalk chalk. In case of rain, we'll move the fun indoors.
