End of Summer Picnic
Hoffer ParkLast but not least – those who complete the summer reading program by Sat. August 11th are invited to our end of summer picnic celebration in Hoffer Park. Live music! Games! And end of Summer Prizes! Dinner will also be served courtesy of Kiwanis Club of Middletown. Guests at the celebration picnic must have completed the summer reading program AND register for the picnic by Sat. August 11th.

FREE Tax Preparation
The Middletown Public Library is partnering with the United Way’s “Money in Your Pocket” program which offers FREE tax preparation for low to moderate-income individuals and families (generally those with a yearly income of $54,000 or less). The program runs Monday nights from 5:30 to 8 pm beginning January 28 and ending April 8. People are helped on a first come, first served basis. Book Signing-Three Mile Island
Author Erik Fasick will be talking about his book on Three Mile Island. He will also be selling and signing copies. It is in the Images of America series put out by Arcadia Publishing, so there are lots of great images. As well as information about Three Mile Island's history and the incident 40 years ago. Erik V. Fasick is a life-long resident of the Harrisburg area and serves as the president of the Historical Society of Dauphin County.
